Delivery Approach

Traditional V Model

* At Pivotix Software Pvt Ltd we follow the V model especially in large projects since not only is it well-structured but it also ensures the availability of documentation at the end of each phase.

* The greatest advantage of documentation is that in large projects each team would be aware of the previous phases and therefore would be able to plan work accordingly. It is this feature that has helped V model to stand the test of time.

Global Delivery Model

* Pivotix Software Pvt Ltd has been using the model based product development for years which has helped to meet the requirements of the automotive industry in a big way. Not only is it cost effective but also agrees with the reduced cycle time of product development.

* Moreover this model effectively handles the complex requirements and control systems brought in by the tighter emission controls and safety requirements. This model helps in rapid design and validation, the result of which is reduced overall cycle time, risks and costs.

Agile Methodology

* Pivotix Software Pvt Ltd has adapted the Agile methodology to suit the demands of customers with reduced cycle time. Iterations typically last from two days to three weeks. Each iteration involves working through the full software development cycle including Requirements, Design, Implementation and Testing.

* This helps minimize overall risk, and lets the project adapt to changes quickly. Daily communication with the customers by means of email, telephone and webcam helps in bridging the gaps. This is in addition to written documentation as required. Communication among the team members helps in keeping all the development

Delivery Excellence

* The meaning of "Delivery Excellence" in pivotix is not necessarily related only to any universal quality in the work product, even though, the presence of such quality is implicit and is a given. It is rather an alignment of our delivery process to the customer's business, and/or, an objective achieved in our delivered work product in more than a satisfactory manner for the customer.

* Simply put, upon delivery, if we have the ability to make more than eight out of every 10 customers exclaim at the time of delivery that our work is "excellent", even though the word "excellent" may mean different to these different customers, that is what we claim has the corporate capability to provide "Delivery Excellence". It is derived from the following actions:
    * Listening to the customer before starting the design and development work.
    * Listening to the customer during the work, and
    * Listening to the customer after the work has been delivered.
